Divine Mercy Qurbana Centre, Parksite traces back its origin to the establishment of the Eparchy of Kalyan in the year 1988. In the beginning, the Qurbana Centre was comprised of approximately 30 families belonging to the Syro-Malabar Rite residing at Parksite, Amruth Nagar, Bamkhana, BTRA Quarters and Varsha Nagar.
Following the erection of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Community at Parksite, Rev. Fr. Thobias was appointed the first Parish Priest of the Centre and Mr. Jacob Manjali and Mr. K.V. Joseph were elected Secretary and Treasurer respectively. From the year 1989 to 1990, Rev. Fr. Antony Kakkanattu served the community for one and a half years and his service was commendable and noteworthy. It was during his term that the first pastoral visit by Bishop Mar Paul Chittilappilly took place in January 1990. The Centre did not have a Church of its own and the Holy Qurbana was being celebrated at St. Xavier’s Latin Church, and the same is being continued even today. Since the community was small in number, there used to be only one family unit and the Prayer Meeting was begun during the term of Rev. Fr. Thomas Choondal as Priest in-charge. It was during the Committee meeting held on 5th August, 2006, that Rev. Fr. Vincent Kanimangalathukaran suggested the name “Divine Mercy Centre” which was accepted by the Committee members. Prayer to the Divine Mercy was also introduced by Fr. Vincent.
Presently, the community of Divine Mercy Qurbana Centre consists of 18 families and the Holy Qurbanais being celebrated on every Saturday at 8.15 p.m. at St. Xavier’s Latin Church, Parksite.

Thomas Choondal, Rev. Fr. Thomas Thaikkoottathil, Rev. Fr. Paul Kaiparambadan, Rev. Fr. George Kuttikkattu, Rev. Fr. Xavier Kanatt, Rev. Fr. Zacharias, Rev. Fr. Mathew Kollamparambil, Rev. Fr. Davis Chiramel, Rev. Fr. Vincent Kanimangalathukaran, Rev. Fr. Biju Kollamkunnel, Rev. Fr. Paul Kunduparambil and Rev. Fr. Kurian Kannamundayil CMF.
At present Fr. Sibichan Kochuveetil is the Parish Priest.
