A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. The leaders of the Youth of Borivali, Malad and Vasai Foranes were gathered at St. Thomas Church, Mira Road on 14th August 2016 for the Leadership Training Camp. Around 70 executives had gathered for the event.
The day commenced with the celebration of the Holy Qurbana Fr. Roy followed by Fr. Jerry, Asst. Director of KEY, welcoming the executives to the event. To energize the youth, the sessions started off with an ice breaking session and a dance session led by Mr. Johnson. Later on, Miss Tinu, DEXCO member, discussed on the qualities to be possessed by a leader i.e. Self-Belief, Understanding and Team Building. The session concluded with a wonderful quote that ‘true leaders should lead the team and help in creating new leaders’. The second half of the session by Miss Vivian, DEXCO member, focused on the etiquettes to be followed while conducting a meeting which was followed by more activities and dance. The event came to an end with a quick look on the upcoming events by KEY.
